Home/What We Do/Partnering

We believe that “together we can do more.”   Not-for-profits often struggle to obtain the funding to create new and innovative programs and to maintain the programs that are already in existence. Since 2008, Illinois has appeared to all but forget about the programs that serve the intellectually disabled and chronically mentally ill populations. No additional funding resources from the State have dramatically affected enrollment into these programs (there are over 20,000 individuals with disabilities in Illinois waiting to receive services and supports) and also program quality.

We are committed to working with our community partners to promote legislative changes, private funding through grants, and back office initiatives.
