Elise Simcox

Director of Development

Elise graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where she gained a solid foundation in communication theory and practice, as well as exposure to various media and marketing platforms. Following her degree, she went on to have a successful tenure as a Membership and Events Coordinator at COACH Marketing Group, LLC, where she managed and promoted various corporate-sector association events and membership programs.

As Elise made the shift to nonprofit work, she took a position as the Development Coordinator at Good Shepherd Center, where she contributed to the non-profit organization's strategic planning and fundraising efforts, leveraging her skills in social media, event, and content marketing. She also worked with the Board of Directors, donors, volunteers, and staff to coordinate and execute successful campaigns, events, and communications that raised awareness and support for the organization's mission and programs.

Elise’s goal is to continue to learn and grow in the non-profit sector, and to apply her passion and expertise in digital marketing solutions to make a positive impact on the communities she serves. Elise lives in Mount Greenwood, but considers her real home to be in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. She proudly coaches youth cheerleading for the Mount Greenwood Colts, and hopes to take home the gold this winter at state. When she isn’t coaching or working, she is spending time with her 8 year old daughter, Sadie, who keeps her on her toes!
